Qulliq Energy Corporation (QEC) invites Seniors and Elders to take part in the first
phase of the Ikajuuti LED Program on November 6 and 7, 2025, in Iqaluit.
The Ikajuuti LED Program is a multi-phase, community-driven initiative that supports
Nunavut’s Seniors and Elders (aged 55+) by strengthening connections and sharing
knowledge about energy use, conservation, renewable energy, and infrastructure
growth across the territory.

Phase 1 introduces a simple and immediate form of support:
QEC will provide one free 12-pack of energy-efficient LED lightbulbs to eligible
participants. LED bulbs use up to 85% less energy, last longer, and are safer for
homes and the environment.
