If you do not pay your monthly power bill by the due date, QEC will charge a late payment fee of 1.5% plus GST of the balance owing on your account. You have 7 days to pay off the total balance owing after your power bill is due to avoid a late payment fee. If you do not pay your balance owing within 7 days after the due date, QEC may issue a 48-hour notice of disconnection or limitation of service in writing to the customer.

After three dishonoured payments from a customer, you will be notified that further payments can only be made by cash, debit or credit card, money order, or certified cheque.
